A city that was incorporated in 1907 with an elevation of 60 ft. It is 6.22 sq. miles in land area. It is a bedroom community to Bellingham which is only 2.9 miles away. The community enjoys Pioneer Park, Silver Reef Casino, the Lummi Reservation, and Lake Terrill. There are many family restaurants, a library an schools nearby. In the summer, the Highland Games comes to the area and a great time to hear the bagpipes, enjoy the Scottish tartans, and watch the many festive events.
