This area is closest to Mount Baker and 10 miles from the Mount Baker summit and a 20 mile drive to the ski area. Glacier was founded in 1909 by Jennie Vaughn. The area was originally a site for gold mining and logging. The elevation is 906 ft and the total land is 3 sq. miles.
