Located on the southernmost tip of the Tsawwassen Penninsula, south of Vancouver in Canada. It is reached by land by travelling 25 miles through Canada. Point Roberts was created when England and the USA settled the border dispute in the mid 19th century with the Oregon Treaty. They decided to delineate both countries territories but overlooked the small area of Point Roberts. Point Roberts consists of 4.884 sq. miles and has 0 elevation. Many Canadian’s have postal boxes in this area to help with mailing costs.
