Lairmont Manor is a property that is listed on the National Register of Historic Sites and is a popular place for weddings, Christmas functions and formal gatherings. The architecture is Italian Renaissance and designed with 25 rooms by Seattle architect, Carl Gould in 1914. Mr. Larrabee passed away before the building was finished and his wife took over and finished the home. Marian Anderson, the famous opera singer, sang in this beautiful hall when other hosts refused her, for her 1941 performance in Bellingham. The Lairmont Manor is one of Bellingham true treasures.
