Fairhaven was one of the original settlements and became part of Bellingham in 1904. The residents live in a mix of condos, apartments, and houses. The streets are crowded with interesting shops, art galleries, restaurants, tennis club, bike shops, beauty shops, book stores, real estate and financial businesses, grocery store, floral shops, banks, doctors, dentists and the like. The view from the Fairhaven Village Green is magnificent. We have an outdoor green in the back of the village where many local events take place, including the farmers market and various musical performances.
Fairhaven is a destination place and loved by many.
