A diverse area of residential and commercial properties located close to the center of Bellingham and the Port of Bellingham. Once thought of as a run down community but that was in the 1960’s. People live the proximity to restaurants, theater and other artistic venues. It was home to the first settlers in 1850. This area has local historic value, close to Whatcom Creek, parks, and the fish hatchery where you can watch the fish returning to the hatchery.
